Cancel anytime. No fees, no minimums, no gotchas.

The Quick Read.

Cancel anytime, no fee. You can cancel your Mxt subscription at any time through your account at mxt.co/account or by emailing help@mxt.co. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum subscription period.

24-hour cutoff. If you cancel within 24 hours of your next scheduled shipment, that shipment may already be in processing and may still be shipped and charged. Cancel more than 24 hours before the shipment date to avoid the next charge.

Cancellation ≠ refund. Cancelling stops future charges but does not automatically refund shipments already sent. If you'd like to return a shipment and receive a refund, see our Return & Refund Policy.

Pre-shipment reminders. We send you an email at least 5 days before each subscription charge, so you have time to cancel, pause, or make changes before the cutoff.

Your consent to recurring charges. By accepting the Mxt trial offer or subscribing, you have authorized recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. This policy describes exactly how to exercise that cancellation right.

How to Cancel Your Subscription.

Cancellation is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the following methods. Cancellation through your account takes effect immediately; cancellations by email are processed within 1 business day of receipt.

How to Cancel
  1. Online (fastest): Log in at mxt.co/account → go to the Subscription tab → select your active subscription → click Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect immediately.
  2. By email: Send an email to help@mxt.co from the address on your account with the subject line "Cancel My Subscription." Include your order number or the name and email address on the account. We will confirm cancellation within 1 business day.
Cancellation must be as easy as enrollment. Our cancellation process is designed to be at least as easy as signing up, as required by California Business & Professions Code §17602 and the federal Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA). If you experience any difficulty cancelling, contact us immediately at help@mxt.co.

When Cancellation Takes Effect.

Cancellations more than 24 hours before the next shipment

If you cancel more than 24 hours before your next scheduled shipment date, your subscription is cancelled immediately and you will not be charged for or receive that shipment. You keep any products from previous shipments.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the next shipment

If you cancel within 24 hours of your next scheduled shipment date, that shipment may already be in processing. In that case:

  • The shipment may still be charged and shipped.
  • Your subscription is cancelled for all future shipments beyond that one.
  • You will not receive any further subscription charges after that shipment.
  • You may return that shipment under our Return & Refund Policy if you do not want it.

How to check your next shipment date

Log into your account at mxt.co/account and navigate to the Subscription tab. Your next shipment date and charge date are displayed there. We also send a pre-shipment email at least 5 days before each charge.

What Cancellation Does — and Doesn't — Do.

What cancellation does

  • Stops all future recurring charges immediately (subject to the 24-hour cutoff in Section 2)
  • Ends your subscription and removes the payment authorization for future subscription charges
  • Allows you to keep all products from previous shipments
  • Does not close your Mxt account — you retain access to your skin profile and account history

What cancellation does not do

  • Does not automatically refund shipments already sent. If you'd like to return a recent shipment for a refund, see our Return & Refund Policy.
  • Does not reverse charges already processed. A charge that has already posted to your payment method requires a separate return request to be refunded.
  • Does not close your account. Your account remains open. You can re-subscribe at any time.

Pausing Instead of Cancelling.

If you'd like to take a break without cancelling permanently, you can pause your subscription through your account at mxt.co/account. Pausing postpones your next shipment without ending your subscription. You can pause for up to 6 months.

To pause: log in → Subscription tab → select your subscription → choose Pause Subscription → select the pause duration or a specific resume date.

No charges occur during a pause. Your subscription automatically resumes at the end of the pause period unless you extend the pause or cancel.

Your Subscription Terms — A Recap.

For ease of reference, here is a summary of your subscription financial terms. Full details are in our Terms of Use (§5).

  • Trial kit: $20, charged at the time of trial order
  • First subscription charge: $99, charged 21 days after your trial order
  • Recurring charge: $99 every 60 days thereafter, until you cancel
  • Cancellation fee: None
  • Minimum subscription period: None
  • Pre-shipment notice: Email sent at least 5 days before each charge date
  • Price changes: If we change the subscription price, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel before the change takes effect.

Legal Compliance.

Mxt's subscription practices are designed to comply with applicable automatic-renewal and negative-option laws, including:

  • California Automatic Renewal Law (California Business & Professions Code §17600 et seq.): We provide clear and conspicuous disclosure of the subscription terms before enrollment, obtain affirmative consent, and make cancellation at least as easy as enrollment.
  • Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA) (15 U.S.C. §8401 et seq.): We clearly disclose all material terms of the subscription offer before capturing your billing information, and we provide a simple mechanism to cancel.
  • FTC Negative Option Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 425, as amended): We provide straightforward cancellation mechanisms and honor all cancellation requests promptly.
  • State automatic-renewal laws in New York, North Carolina, Delaware, and other states where applicable.
