Summary

The Quick Read.

Trial kit ($20). If you're not satisfied with your trial kit, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll issue a full refund of the $20 trial fee — no return required. One refund per household.

Subscription shipments ($99). Each subscription shipment is eligible for return within 30 days of delivery. Products must be unused and in their original packaging. Initiate by emailing help@mxt.co and we'll send a prepaid return label. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned items.

Adverse skin reactions. If a product causes an unexpected adverse reaction, contact us right away — even if you've used the product. We handle these on a case-by-case basis with care.

What we can't accept back. We cannot accept returns of products that have been opened and used (for hygiene reasons), gift cards, or items marked final sale. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Subscription cancellation. Cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund of already-shipped orders. To cancel your subscription before a charge occurs, see our Purchase Options Cancellation Policy or log into your account at mxt.co/account.

Items we cannot accept back

For health, hygiene, and regulatory reasons, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Products that have been opened and used
  • Products not in their original, sealed packaging (except for the trial kit satisfaction guarantee and adverse reaction cases)
  • Gift cards
  • Items marked "Final Sale" or sold at a promotional clearance price
  • Items purchased from third-party sellers (we cannot process returns for orders not placed directly through mxt.co)

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged in transit).

How to Start a Return.

Email us within 30 days of delivery

Send an email to help@mxt.co with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return, and the reason. If the issue involves a skin reaction or damaged item, please include photos.

Receive your return authorization and prepaid label

Our team will respond within 2 business days with a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number and a prepaid shipping label (where applicable). Do not ship items back without an RMA — we may be unable to process unreferenced returns.

Pack and ship the items

Pack the items securely in the original packaging where possible and attach the prepaid label. Drop the package off at any authorized carrier location within 7 days of receiving the label.

Refund processed within 5–10 business days

Once we receive and inspect the return, we'll process your refund within 5–10 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.

Trial kit satisfaction guarantee: If you're not satisfied with your trial kit, you don't need to return anything — just email us at help@mxt.co within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund the $20 trial fee. Limit one per household.

Subscription Orders and Refunds.

Subscription shipments are treated the same as one-time purchases for return and refund purposes: if you receive a shipment you're not satisfied with, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.

Cancellation ≠ refund. Cancelling your subscription prevents future charges but does not automatically generate a refund for shipments already sent. If you'd like a refund on a shipment you've already received, initiate a return as described in Section 2.

Cancelling before the next charge. If you want to avoid an upcoming subscription charge, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled charge date. See our Purchase Options Cancellation Policy for full details, or log into your account at mxt.co/account.

Trial $20 charge after cancellation. If you cancel your subscription before the first $99 subscription charge on day 21, you will not be charged $99. The initial $20 trial-kit charge is subject to the 30-day satisfaction guarantee described above.

Exchanges.

We do not currently offer direct product exchanges. If you'd like a different product, initiate a return for the original item and place a new order. Our team can help you find the right product for your skin profile — email help@mxt.co.

Adverse Skin Reactions.

Your skin's safety is our priority. If you experience an unexpected adverse reaction — including persistent redness, irritation, breakouts, swelling, or other symptoms — please stop using the product and contact us immediately at help@mxt.co.

You do not need to return the product to receive a refund in these cases. We will work with you on a case-by-case basis, which may include a full refund, a product replacement, or a skin profile review to better match your routine.

If you experience a severe reaction (difficulty breathing, significant swelling, or severe skin injury), discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately. Once you're safe, let us know — we take these reports seriously and use them to improve our formulas and flagging criteria.

Refund Timing.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process the refund within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method:

  • Shop Pay / credit card: 5–10 business days after processing (timing may vary by issuer)
  • Shop Pay installments: subject to Shop Pay's refund timing for installment plans

We'll send you an email confirmation when the refund is processed. If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days, first check your bank account and contact your card issuer — processing times vary. If you still have an issue, email us at help@mxt.co.

Satisfaction guarantee refunds (trial kit, no return required) are typically processed within 3–5 business days of your request.
